Vanishing Profits:

Are you “Vanishing Profits”? ©

You may require assistance…

If indicators show that your business is losing money due to the following causes:

You cannot compete profitably in the global market because the corporate culture fosters poor work ethic and no sense of urgency to complete the end-work-products on a timely basis.

Repeated hearing the employee’s comment “That is not my job!”

Good work ethic in your company only means:  Coming to, and leaving work on time.  Going to, and returning from break on time.  Not spending an excessive amount of time in the restrooms.

Your employees do not know their roles in the company’s emergency preparedness and disaster recovery programs.

More focus is on if the employee fits into the corporate culture than where they fit into the workflow business process. (Resolve those issues and everyone fits into the corporate culture!)

Your company unspoken and unwritten policies include laying off, terminating, dismissing, reduction in force or not hiring job candidates over 50 years old.

Your employees do not know their complete job roles and authority level within the company and in relation to other employees.

You do not know the true cost of doing business per each component piece per individual task of creating the all of the finished-end-work-products.

You do not know with certainty - the amount of time involved to create all end work product your company complete internally or deliver externally.

You do not know where all of the component pieces of the end work product are distributed at any point in the workflow process as the end-work-product moves toward completion.

Your do not know where in the workflow process the end-work-product is in the process moving toward completion.

Excluding specific technical, crafts or professional training which should have been completed in an educational institutions and/or previous experience.  If it takes more than 2 days, in some rare cases 3 days to train an employee to do the job procedures...you are wasting money, resources and time.

If you do not have a "Standard Operations Procedures / Business Workflow Process" for doing every jobs in your company for every finished end work products - this is a key indicator you are wasting resources, increasing operational overhead, losing money, time...over working employees which; add mistakes, proliferate errors in judgment, stress, health related down time,

You do not have an accountabilities infrastructures, for example: Employee / Management Relationship Coordination, Risk / Exposure / Loss Alert Reporting Infrastructure, Activities Based Cost / Management and Balance Scorecard...

Do not have a complete picture on your competitor profile, pricing structure, operations, products, services and transactions.

No standardized policies for dealing with research, development, change, innovation, or creativity to flourish within your company.
